Learn how to fly fish, and get the low-down on why and how to do it by bicycle. Join us for this 2-day intro workshop.

Fly fishing and bicycles have something mesmerizing in common: both deepen our experiences in the great outdoors, challenging us to listen, look and intuit our surroundings in a way that brings us closer to the natural world. Come with us as we fuse our passions with a day of pedaling and casting on the outskirts of Seattle. We’re eager to share a full day of exploring winding roads and meandering rivers, honing our fishy senses, and escaping city life with you.

Let our local partners at Swift Adventure Co. and Emerald Water Anglers guide you through this distinctively Pacific Northwest experience.

    Day number 1
Meet your guides and the group near Rattlesnake Lake. From there we’ll bicycle above the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River with stops to get to know the essential gear for the bike-fishing fanatic and to nerd out on the ins-and-outs of hauling your travel fishing kit. Once we’re on the river, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals of fly fishing from the art of reading water down to getting a knack for casting with master guide, Kristen Bufe, from Emerald Water Anglers.

During this 2-day workshop, we will be exploring two different river systems in the Cascade Mountain Range, the iconic Snoqualmie River as well as smaller rivers near the town of Skykomish, WA - a region renowned for its steelhead fishing.
