Ski and ride over 4,000 feet of vertical on this guided powder tour.

Lying in the heart of Wyoming’s Grand Tetons is a destination that should be on every skier and snowboarder’s bucket list. Join us in 2021 with our partners at Mint Tours and see for yourself why Jackson Hole is home to some of the best skiers and snowboarders in the world, including Travis Rice and Bryan Iguchi.

Jackson Hole is renowned for having some of the best intermediate and advanced terrain in North America including 4,139 feet of quad-burning vert, 450+ annual inches of seemingly bottomless snow and steeps that may as well have their own classification on the trail map.

A utopia for riders wanting to get steep and deep and enjoy true Western hospitality. Jackson provides the ultimate destination for both powder fiends and riders wanting to explore the perfectly pitched bowls, ridges, and chutes. Take the plunge and drop into legendary chutes that challenge even the most advanced rider, or just enjoy the incredible light, dry, powder that Jackson Hole receives. Stay in the historical town of Jackson for an unforgettable ski town experience, pull up a saddle stool and enjoy some great local brews. Just a stone’s throw from the entrance to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson offers amazing cat-skiing and backcountry opportunities, and barely an hour away is powder paradise, Grand Targhee, with incredible off-piste as well as spectacular views of the surrounding Tetons.

Please note: We have two package options, one that includes lift tickets and one that does not include lift tickets (for IKON passholders)

After you sign up for this tour, you will receive pre-trip emails with specific information about your tour, the arrival and departure day process, information about the destination, packing suggestions, and other relevant information to help you prepare for your trip. Mint will send out a Pre Departure Guide 30 days prior to departure. Prior to the tour commencing you’ll be invited to a group chat which is managed by your tour manager and guides. • How many guided days are there?
One of the advantages of travelling with Mint is that you have dedicated guides for your entire tour. Our guides are on-hand from the moment you arrive, until we say goodbye on departure day. They are not only with you all day on-snow, they are also on-hand each evening. They are always more than happy to share their experience with you on the mountain, and share a beer and some laughs at the end of the day.

About 99% of our guests are travelling solo, so you’ll be in good company. Our groups generally mix well due to a shared interest in snow sports and an eagerness to explore all that Jackson has to offer. If you are travelling solo, you will be paired with another guest to room with. If we were unable to find another solo traveler of the same gender to pair you with, then you would need to pay a single supplement ($320) for your own room.
  • What if I want my own (single) room?
Single rooms are available on request for an additional $320, subject to availability. If interested, please inquire and we'll confirm availability. Payment will be made directly to Mint Tours.
  • Are lift tickets included?
Yes, this tour includes a 3-day adult lift pass to Jackson Hole.
  • How many people are on this tour?
Each tour is different, but we know that by offering one of the smallest client to guide ratio in the industry allows you to ski or snowboard at your preferred pace, and ultimately leads to a better experience for everyone. We have a maximum of 8 people on this tour. This ensures you get the most out of your time with us, and keeping the groups small means less time waiting and more time riding powder.
  • Who will be on my tour?
Your group will be made up of travelers from diverse backgrounds and will be varied in age. Our groups generally mix well due to a shared interest in snow sports and an eagerness to explore all that Jackson has to offer.
  • Is this tour right for me?
We recommend this trip for intermediate and above skiers and riders. More specifically, this tour is best suited to skiers and snowboarders who can link turns in powder snow, can make a variety of turn shapes and can traverse, hold speed and is adventurous when skiing and snowboarding the entire mountain including side-hits and jumps. If you’re not sure, give us a call. Weather and ski conditions are impossible to predict so guests must be prepared to ride or ski anything.
  • What resorts will we visit?
The tour is based entirely at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Don’t worry you won’t get bored with the longest continuous vertical descent of 4,139 feet—the most in North America and terrain spanning 2,500 acres.
  • Can I arrive early or stay on after the tour?
For most tours you can arrive earlier or stay later. We can tailor the trip to suit your travel plans. Reach out if you’re interested and we’ll be more than happy to assist you.
  • Who are the guides?
All of our tours are guided by friendly, knowledgeable and expertly trained guides who are passionate about the mountains. Most of our guides work for us season after season. Pro snowboarder Chad Otterstrom will be your guide for this trip, you can read more about him in the “Area Info” section above.
  • Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. All guests on tour need to be covered by comprehensive travel insurance. Once you have booked on the tour, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. We offer all of our tour guests discounted snow specific travel insurance.
  • How do I get there?
Fly into Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), and from there you’ll be met with private transfers to and from the Springhill Suites by Marriott in the town of Jackson (roughly a 20 minute drive). Please note before buying flights, a recommended pick-up / drop-off time will be set for arrival and departure transfer. We ask that you wait for us to advise these times before planning your flights.
  • What equipment should I bring?
Jackson Hole like any ski area can experience all kinds of weather depending on the season. We recommend that guests have a good quality waterproof jacket and pants, lightweight insulated layer, merino base layers, merino gloves and waterproof gloves, goggles with low light & high light lenses, sunglasses, balaclava, beanie, and helmet. We recommend that all guests bring their own ski or snowboarding equipment for the tour (board, boots, bindings & outerwear).
  • What if I already have a pass and don't need lift tickets?
No problem! We are happy to offer this package to you without lift tickets. Just select the second option of the dates available and pricing will lower.

“First time I have travelled anywhere by myself not knowing anyone. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly; it wasn't an issue at all. Would highly recommend this to first time solo travellers interested in improving on their skills or who just want to have a great time with some great people!! Keep up the great tours. MINT! ”

“Best decision we made. From the point of first contact with Jarred & the team at Mint Tours, right through the trip with our guide, everything was awesome. We were intermediate to advanced, but the guide can cater for anybody. It was so good not having to think of the best runs to go on, they just took us to the best pow on the mountain.”
