When the Mantra first hit the scene, it was revolutionary. One of the first skis to lend experienced skiers confidence in virtually any snow conditions, and now in its 5th generation, the Volkl M5 Mantra Skis continue to build upon their all-mountain dominance. An all new Titanal Frame technology leverages strategically cut out layers of metal that run the perimeter of the ski, but forego a continuous full-sheet of metal in favor of substantial weight savings. Not only do the new M5 Mantras retain the same powerful edge and charge-through-anything feel of their predecessors, but they're now significantly lighter for nearly effortless turn initiation and all-day performance. Ski harder, with more confidence and less fatigue aboard the new Volkl M5 Mantra Skis!
Tip & Tail Rocker – Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.
Moderate Taper – Moderate setup of tapered tips for an all mountain oriented combination of precision on piste and easy handling off piste.
Multi Layer Woodcore – The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it.
Titanal Frame – The Titanal Frame assures the most efficient and lively all-mountain freeride performance. By shaping the top layer of metal in just the right way, Volkl engineers created a lighter weight design that maintains stability and adds liveliness and energy.
Carbon Tips – Tip material layup for high reliability/stability at the lightest possible weight.
Full Sidewall – Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls.
P-Tex 2100 – A sintered high-density and high molecular weight polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

As you develop as a skier, pushing harder and skiing faster, you find out that pre-release can be just as dangerous as failure to release. Performance, light weight, and reliability are what have made the Griffon evo's most popular alpine binding over the years and the new Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings maintain that tradition. The Griffon ID introduces a new AFD (Anti-Friction Device) with a greater adjustment range, meant to function equally well with either Alpine ISO 5355 or Touring ISO 9523 soles.
Triple Pivot Elite Toe – Toe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.
AFD Gliding Plate – All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.
Sole.ID – Marker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).
Inter Pivot Heel – The stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
