Product Info

Does your vision include you smearing crud into smooth oblivion? How about dancing down powdery hallways? Arcing groomed turns at warp speed? Throwing backflips? However you see it in your mind, the Line Skis Vision 98 Skis will help make your vision of tearing up the slopes a reality. Expertly balancing lightweight performance with ultra-damp THC construction and a playful shape rarely seen in the featherweight category, these skis are made for anything you want to do. They're super poppy, easy to toss sideways, and a joy throw around when the snow is soft and slushy. Whether you're after a backcountry rig that doesn't take itself too seriously or an all-mountain setup that goes easy on the knees, the Vision 98s are right on the money.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Early Rise™Tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack.

Rocker Profile9mm Tip / 3mm Camber / 7mm Tail

Flex

Directional Flex™The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and high speed control.

Sidecut

5-Cut™Five different radiuses are blended into the ski's sidecut. The result? A wide variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel.

Shape

Early Taper™The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.

Thin Tip™Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.

Core

Partly Cloudy™A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple creating the best strength to weight ratio of Line's offerings.

Laminates

THC™ ConstructionCombining Aramid, Carbon, and Fiberglass into a proprietary stack laminate, the elements of Line's THC vibrate and resonate at different frequencies for a hyper-dampened ski experience.

Sidewalls

Sidewall ConstructionUltra-high density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission.

Base

Sintered 1.3 mm BaseSintered bases reduce friction against the snow allowing for more speed, and more durability due to the high-density material they're crafted from.

Edges

2.1 mm x 2 mm

Graphics

Hardcap TPU

Additional Features

Recommended Stance Back from Center44.3 mm

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
