Genius Alloy SL 6011 Frame
Evo-Lap Carbon Technology – Thanks to this extensive computer modeling, Scott optimized the carbon layers in all the parts of the frame. When the parts were bonded together in the first prototypes, the result was a super light and compact frame without sacrificing the stiffness, comfort or impact resistance. This allows them to make the most efficient layup possible.
Fox Float Performance Rear Shock – Performance Series FLOAT shocks have fewer adjustments than Factory Series (no Open mode adjust tuning range), and have black anodized air sleeve and body instead of Genuine Kashima Coat.
Shock Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure / Open, Medium, Firm Compression Modes / Rebound
Genius Trail Geometry – Compared to the previous iteration, this one is slacker, has longer reach, shorter chainstays and a steeper seat angle. We really wanted geometry figures that would balance out the long front end for more stable descending. What they've ended up with is a bike that climbs like a bat out of hell and gets you down the mountain faster than you can say "dropping!"
SW Dropouts – These dropouts are designed to be integrated on the thru-axle system thanks to a hollow tubular design that allows a simple and lightweight structure. Available for SRAM and Shimano DM derailleurs, this dropout increases the stiffness and avoids damage to the frame in case of impacts on the rear derailleur.
TwinLoc Suspension System – With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
On Frame, Two Wheel Sizes – This model can switch from 27.5" to 29" wheels with nothing more than the flip of a chip. No need to change the fork, all you need to do is flip a shock mount chip, change your wheels and off you go. The flip chip allows Scott to maintain a similar BB height when switching from one wheel size to the other which is key to keeping handling similar for both wheel sizes.
RockShox Revelation RL3 – Revelation is all grown up and ready to explore wherever the trail may turn. Value-packed, the Revelation features the updated DebonAir™ air spring paired with the Motion Control damper and 35mm Fast Black upper tubes.
Fork Adjustments – Air Spring Pressure, Low Speed Compression to Lockout, Rebound Adjust
Shimano XT / Deore 12 Speed – A solid mix of dependable Shimano components keeps you chugging along. With a wide gear range, you'll find one of the 12 speeds perfect for your terrain.
Shimano 4-Piston – The system adopts a power transfer system in which the disc brake rotor is pressed by the smaller sized piston at the entrance of the disc brake rotor intake and also by the more powerful larger sized piston at the back. This prevents the wobbling motion of the disc brake rotor and reduces noises significantly. The 4-piston caliper also allows a wider contact area for the disc brake rotor while keeping the size compact, and the efficient location of pads is adjusted as necessary to stabilize the pressure.

Syncros X-30S Tubeless Ready Rims
Maxxis Rekon Rear Tire – Wide knobs down the middle provide control under braking and L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns. With confidence like this you can race more and scout less with the Rekon.
Maxxis Dissector Front Tire – Designed in conjunction with Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector seeks to minimize drag while retaining cornering control.
