Hailing from the land of deep tree runs, The Gentemstick Rocket Fish 144 Snowboard is a hummingbird of a board. A true pow surfer that brings joy to every part of the mountain, this board was made for wide open fresh snow in Hokkaido and the best days at your local. Its short length, very wide outline, and stout tip serve up top-notch carving ability, along with a deep swallowtail that makes it truly unsinkable. Agility in the ultra deep has never felt this attainable.

Accel Camber | 4mm – Gentemstick’s radical acceleration camber eliminates hooking and prevents nosedives in deep powder or fresh snow while maintaining natural flotation. It is designed and shaped to perform its best when the rider stands neutrally on top of a board. It is flat from the widest point of the nose to about the front foot. The arch begins there and reaches its highest point around the back foot, and it ends at the widest point of the tail. When a rider stands on the board, the arch flexes and the area ahead of the front foot rises for more lift in deeper snow.

Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction. Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.
