If you're looking for a quiver of one answer for all your backcountry and sidecountry needs, the Atomic Backland 107 W Skis are ready to step up and fill the spot. Plenty of width for that epic pow day, yet grippy enough for that steep couloir, the Backland 107 can be mounted up with either AT or alpine bindings and enjoyed in the full spectrum of winter conditions. This is a light ski that doesn't "ski light" with a versatile shape (see HRZN tip shape) that you'll appreciate more and more as the season progresses.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
