The Armada Whitewalker Skis are Sammy Carlson's holy grail, and they're about to be yours too. They're a powder focused twin designed to stomp big airs and gnarly lines, all while being light enough for human-powered BC access. It has everyone at evo talking, and for good reason. Smear Tech paired with a Pintail Tip and Tail make for quick turn initiation and reduce drag in the deep stuff, making it easy to nail down Sammy's playful, surf-inspired style. This is one supernatural set of sticks for all who dwell in the pow covered North.
AR Freestyle Rocker – Rockered tips and tails are combined with positve camber under foot to allow the ski to charge with ease through unpredictable snow and maintain a solid carve when asked to do so. Turn the whole mountain into your playground.
Flex Pattern (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – Tip: 7.5 | Waist: 8.5 | Tail: 7.5
Pintail Tip / Tail
Smear Tech – A 3D beveled base in the tip and tail creates a unique feel in all snow conditions. Less likely to catch in crud, self centering in deep snow and un-catchable on take offs, Smear Tech lets you float effortlessly whether sliding forwards, backwards, left or right.
Caruba Core – Armada's lightest wood species keeps the overall weight low while retaining the power and dampness you want while skiing.
AR75 Sidewalls – Sidewalls provide improved edge pressure under the boot, while cap constuction in the tip and tail provides smooth turn initiation and less hookiness - 75% sidewall, 25% cap.
Comp Series Base – Sintered UHMW polyethylene with added carbon aids in speed and durability
1.7mm Impact Edge – Heat treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
