Big mountains and unridden lines call for the Faction Prime 4.0 Skis. With a beefy 118mm waist width, the Prime 4.0 is a "light" powder ski that doesn't ski light at all. TeXtreme Carbon weave construction is designed to make uphill climbs as easy as possible while giving you the best ride down through the steep and deep, adding plenty of horsepower without unwanted weight. Take your mind off grueling slogs and keep your eye on the prize with the Faction Prime 4.0 Skis.
440mm Tip Rocker / 2mm Camber / 480mm Progressive Tail Rocker
Stiff Flex – 8 (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff)
Multi-Dimension Sidecut – Shorter radius underfoot with longer radii blended out to the tip and tail of the ski. Charges at high speeds whilst giving responsive, short turns when you need it.
Progressive Flat Tail
Lightweight Balsa / Pachaco Core
Titanal Binding Plate – When you're on a day-long touring trip in the backcountry, you need to rely on your gear. Titanal reinforcement plates are laid up on top of the lightweight cores ensuring that your binding screws hold. This one-piece design fits alpine and touring bindings, adding trustworthy durability to these lightweight cores.
TeXtreme Carbon – Proprietary 'spread-tow' weave makes the laminate thinner and stronger than regular carbon. A full layer, strategically laid up gives excellent torsional stability across the ski without compromising weight.
Full Strength Sidewall – This construction places strips of protective material along the sides of each core, between the edge and the topsheet. Sidewalls provide the best possible edge hold and stability when the ski is engaged in a turn as well as protecting the wood core, edges and topsheet from impacts and outside damage.
Anti-Chip Micro Cap
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
