The Karakoram PRIME Connect Free Ranger + Quiver Connectors Snowboard Bindings blend hard-carving power with surfy fluidity by incorporating a higher, stiffer sidewall on the outside of the baseplate and a more forgiving one on the inside. This gives you the freedom to make subtle weight transfers as needed and still deliver the power when the chips are down. With a sole-saving EVA footbed for air and hardpack and a precise Reactive highback, the Free Ranger is all the freeride binding you'll ever need.

Baseplate
Prime System – Quickly attach your Prime bindings to your solid board with Quiver-Connectors or splitboard with Ride Mode 2.0. Active joining allows for a loose, drop-on fit then closing the lever locks your binding to your board, removing all play from the system.
Open Chassis – Allows board to twist naturally under binding.
Assymetric Dual Power Sidewalls – A softer Surf Sidewall on the inside and a stiffer Power Sidewall on the outside.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
